Orion Opal Studs
Mismatched celestial studs — a star for one ear, a ringed planet for the other
One star, one little planet — worn together.
An asymmetric pair: a faceted star studs one ear while a ringed opal planet orbits the other, its blue centre shifting between grey, sky and milk as the light moves. Small enough for every day, strange enough that people lean in to look.
Imagined with a stargazer's romance — a night sky you can wear to the office.

For anyone who'd rather wear the sky than another plain stud.
Matching studs are easy to ignore. We wanted a pair with a small story — a star and its planet — that rewards a second glance without shouting for one.
The planet's centre is a synthetic blue opal, cradled in a fine gold-tone ring; the star opposite it is cut to flash against it. Screw-back posts keep both sitting straight and secure.
Wear them as your quiet signature — the detail a friend notices before they notice anything else you have on.
Two tiny scenes, set with care
The planet is a synthetic blue opal set inside a slender gold-tone ring, so its colour drifts as you move; the star is faceted to throw a sharp little flash.
Both sit on screw-back posts, which thread closed rather than pushing on — so they hold firm and won't slip out through the day.
- Synthetic blue-opal planet
- Faceted sparkle star
- Secure screw-back posts
Odd on purpose, easy in practice
Asymmetry is the whole point, but the pair stays small and balanced, so it reads as considered rather than costume.
Light enough for all-day wear and neutral enough to sit with everything from a work shirt to an evening slip.
- All-day lightweight
- Goes with everything
- Comes boxed to give
The little planet everyone asks about
Sorted before you order.
A full pair — the faceted star for one ear and the ringed opal planet for the other. They're designed to be worn together as a mismatched set.
No — it's a synthetic opal, made to give that shifting blue glow at a fraction of natural opal's cost. The sparkle stone is cubic zirconia. It's costume jewellery, and we'd rather be clear than imply otherwise.
Instead of a push-on butterfly, the back threads onto the post and tightens — so they can't slip off on their own. Turn to loosen when you take them out.
The posts are gold-tone plated, which many people wear comfortably, but they aren't certified hypoallergenic. If your ears are very reactive, that's worth bearing in mind. Keep them dry and off in the shower to hold the finish.
They ship within 3-5 business days at no cost to you, and turn up in a box with no pricing shown — ready to gift or to wear the same day.
